Marriage proposal on the Bosphorus, timed and staged
The proposal package is built around a specific moment. You tell us approximately when you want to propose — sunset, under the first bridge, at Maiden’s Tower, or during a slow pass of Ortaköy Mosque — and the captain times the boat’s position for it. You get a signal when the moment is 30 seconds away so you can be ready.
On board: a private yacht (up to 12 but most proposal bookings are just two people), a table set with flowers and candles, a bottle of champagne chilled for after the yes, and a photographer discreetly positioned on the upper deck to capture the actual moment. The photographer is optional and priced separately; most people include it and receive the photos within 48 hours.
Standard duration is 2 hours. Typical format: board 30 minutes before sunset, sail up the European side, propose during the transition window (around 40 minutes in), celebrate with champagne, dinner or dessert during the remainder. Dinner catering is an add-on; most people have it.
